An impressive career can conceal many a sad story beneath. Lolo jones, the winner of USA and World the hurdle championships, achieved this status after many years of hard work and incredible perseverance. Jones, who was born into a single mother with five children in poverty and hardship when she was a kid, endured an incredibly difficult childhood. Her mother was always on the move, and had even lived in a basement church for a duration. This nomadic life forced Jones to attend an entirely new school each year up until her first day of the high school. Jones was kept apart from her family at Theodore Roosevelt to pursue track and field events. She lived with four different families during her time at high school, in order to learn in one place. Jones was awarded an award called the Gatorade Iowa Track & Field Athlete of the Year award in high school. She was an active member of the school orchestra as a cello player. Jones was one of the best hurdlers in her age group when she first entered college. At the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championship she took home in the 100m hurdles. Also, she was a part of the winning team for the 100-meter relay. Jones took home both the indoor hurdles and the outdoor hurdles during the NCAA Championship in 2003. Jones began training in 2005 when she graduated from her college studies. The same year, she won in the Torino Memorial event, and in the year 2206, she was crowned the Ostrava track event, as in addition to the Heusden track race.
Brandt, who was raised in Cape Town South Africa with her siblings and parents, relocated from Cape Town South Africa to Auckland New Zealand when she was in her teens. Brandt's talent was discovered in Auckland through the local cast director Brandt. Brandt was cast as a part of Naevia as her role on the Starz show Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Working with producers Steven S. D Knight and Sam Raimi she captivated audiences by her acting and was one of the show's most memorable starlets. Mazikeen is a popular Vertigo/DC comic book character and Vertigo/DC series Lucifer played her part in the cult Netflix show. Forbes named Lucifer as their top most watched show to binge watch in 2021. Brandt can next be seen alongside Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira in the 6 episode limited Walking Dead spin-off which airs in 2024. She will also be starring alongside Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan and Chris Meloni in the adult animated series Captain Fall which airs July 2023 on Netflix. Lesley Ann Brandt was born 2nd December in Cape Town in South Africa. She's quite an accomplished New Zealand actress. Lesley Brandt moved along with the entire family into Auckland New Zealand in 1999. Her first job was in Auckland as a retailer before being promoted to an IT manager consultant. Lesley began modeling, after which she began appearing in commercials. In 2008, she completed her college and began studying Meisner techniques for studying. Her first major acting role was on the TV drama Diplomatic Immunity in New Zealand. Lesley Brandt made a guest appearance on New Zealand's TV drama Shortland Street in the role of a support actor. She then appeared in the Sci-fi film This Is Not My Life which is based on the anecdote of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt appeared as Naevia as a hostage who was a teenager in the Television Series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. This character was later featured in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
