In 2013, Australian New York City resident Yael Stone played inmate "Lorna Morello" in Orange Is the New Black. Yael has received her NIDA diploma. Yael despite her young age, has had the privilege of learning from the most famous storytellers in Australia. Yael enjoys a rich career in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael moved into New York City after the Brooklyn Academy of the Music's production of the play had an enormous success. Yael co-founded The Cannery. The Cannery is located within Bushwick Brooklyn and works out of Brooklyn to encourage creative writing, innovative ideas and new work.
