| Anna Paquin is a New Zealand-Canadian film theatre and television actress known for her roles in films like The PianoFly Away Home and X-Men.She began her career in the film business when she was a young artist, in The Pianofor which she won the Academy Award for the Best Actress in a supporting role at the age of eleven. It was not her intention to be an actress, but the fates decided that she would. After her debut that was a hit her debut, she was contacted by a variety of companies, but she declined their offers to pursue her studies. In 2000, she appeared as Rogue, a powerful mutant in the X-Men, the initial X-Menfilms.This character helped propel her to the world stage. She reprised her role in the role of Roguein sequels such as X2and X-Men The Last Stand.She was also seen in tiny screen appearances, including Elaine Goodalein Bury My Heart at Wounded Kneefor which she was awarded her first Emmynomination.
